 Hey! My name is Tanicha A. Saintigene, and I'm a current junior at Fort Lauderdale High School. I'm ready to explore and understand the world of media. Growing up, I was always exposed to so many different fields. I was in a range of things from dance groups to digital tech advancement groups. Those experiences made me find passions for many things at a young age. Some of those passions left while others stuck with me till now like media studies. Fun Fact!:I actually wanted to become a director or script writer but the business field won me over. Yes, I'm taking this course in efforts to get my Cambridge Diploma. I'm also taking it to learn and hopefully apply the skills of media in my future. As said before the business field has won me over. Leading me to pursue a career in Marketing or Finance. The clubs at my school, specifically BPA and DECA strongly influenced that decision. Competing with other businesses, bringing in high revenue, and finding ways to persuade consumers is what I'd love to do. My other main passion is Track & Field. Sports were also common in my family. I've been running track for 6 years now and I wouldn't have it any other way. It's helped me define myself and forced me out of my shell to expand my horizons and just live life. It's also installed most of my best characteristics like determination, dependability, and problem-solving

Planning Storyboard for Music Video

  After thorough and difficult planning, I finally put together my storyboard and linked it to timings in the music video. The music video starts off with the me dropping/placing a cherry on top of milkshake because it links directly with what the lyrics are saying. Then switches to a scene with the male character on his phone texting different girls and answering the phone. Afterwards is another direct quote from the lyrics, where I'll place a box of ice-cream and slide in a slice of cake. The next scene is the artist singing along to the song with half of her body in the visual.  In box 5 is a scene of a group of girl friends that are gossiping to each other about boys. They're agreeing with each other and interacting. Next scene is a girl living her best life shopping and being happy without boys. Planning Storyboard for my Sunglass Hut Commercial

  Creating a storyline for my commercial goes right along with my vision. I've looked at other commercials from Sunglass Hut to get an overview and inspiration of what I'd like in mines. I hope I'm not reaping more than I can sow.  For the beginning of the video, I want to have a variety of glasses pop up on the screen in a random order just blinking over each other. Its a cool and flashy into automatically grabbing the audience's attention.  Then have someone walking outside near trees or just in front of the mall with different angles and shoots. Ill do these in a long or aerial shots for range then zoom in on the glasses. Maybe it'll include an outfit change during this shoot for versatility. In the third box, I want someone driving, and once the sun shines SUPER BRIGHT, the actor will grab some trendy glasses and smoothly put them on and smile. Music Video Conventions

The song I choose was "Boys Aint It," by SAYGRACE. This song falls under the huge, trendy, genre of POP! This genre is most commonly used amongst teens and young adults. Through this many artists get to share their vibe, personality, and emotions while having fun. With its range, Pop music branched out to disco and contemporary R&B. In my song election, it has music breaks of disco beats, lyrics similar to contemporary R&B and the perfect feel of Pop.  Pop music videos usually have these conventions: MISE EN SCENE - Bright colors, Bright lights, Fashionable Clothing, Nice accessories, and Good make-up. PROPS - depends on the artists, their chosen theme, and setting used. VIDEO EDITS - Tints and filters to boost colors, and edits made to artists to seem picture perfect. CHARACTERS - usually sung and performed by women while having both genders integrated in the video.
