Editing & Creating the "Boys Aint It" Music Video
I created two versions of the music video. I often try to create two because, it gives me the opportunity to share my ideas with variety.
For the entire video, I filmed on my Apple iPhone 8+, holding the phone horizontally. Majority of the films had natural lighting during both the day and night times. Leading me to edit the night scenes to have lighter tones. For editing and putting pieces together, I mainly used the platforms; iMovie, PicsArt, Lomotif, and the Video Editor App.
For quick collage parts of fun photos, I used lomotif. To create or add colors/drawing I used PicsArt designs. Video Editor App allowed me to crop and edit the videos. iMovie was used to create transitions and put the videos in order.
I kept all filming shots and clips in an album saved on my phone titled, "Music Video." Here I was able to quickly find and import clips onto iMovie to build the video and add the order I'd like it to be in. I screen recorded the audio from the song through YouTube then added it onto to iMovie for the overall song. In order for only the song to be heard, all other clips and videos had to be muted by putting their volume to zero. After all the videos were all in order, I choose the transitions and made the video flow better.
I put the videos in an order flickering from day to night with light and dark scenes. This gives contrast while also keeping viewers interested!
STAY TUNED FOR THE VIDEO!! Only one version will be uploaded out of the two.
