Comparing Le Jetee, the short, and 12 Monkeys full length Movie

This video was very in depth of how the effort and outcome of this film matched each other to a standard of excellence. This movie invited people in because the genre of scientific fiction, drama, and thriller together are so intriguing. The film's shifts throughout time are well done and the effects and editing process greatly contributed to this. While watching the video, you can see the important little details being taken care of to a great extent. Small traits like this inn film could be overlooked and remembering this is great.

This article really emphasizes the similarities between the two films. 12 Monkeys is closely detailed and could be a clouded mirror reflection of the older movie, Le Jetee. I think it was super creative for the narrator of Jetee to have been actually apart of the film until the audience is left in a state of shock when the narrating character dies. With film being so diverse, there is multiple ways to relay a message or progress a motion just by proper and efficient editing. Both films have a futuristic or post-world setting, meaning more needs to be done for viewers and critics to interpret.
