Redoing the Postcard

When checking off my to-do lists, I finished up the website, did good work on the social media pages, yet knew something was missing!! The Postcard.

I drafted a model before but I knew that I'd redo it in the future. It had weird borders, a somewhat good-looking color palette, and felt like a matrix rather than a simple drama. Today I got rid of the old postcard and went back onto Canva to create something new.

I started off by creating new backgrounds by trying different photos or plain colors. I found an image that worked perfectly and thought of a way to tie in the movie's complexity in the postcard. In the front, there's an image of a man driving but I dulled out the color so contrast with the sun rising on the road in the background image. However, on the back, there's a woman driving and the male is in the passenger seat. I hope this is noticed and it reveals a key part of the film that the woman is driving and possesses his mind while in his phases of denial.

I kept the transparent social media logos and added a line to separate them from the little info section and to make it seem more spacious. I changed ALL fonts and added text of where the film will be shown and the times. Adding that it'll be available on Youtube, I added a youtube logo instead of typing it out and switched out the website icon to fit the back's theme.

I love the new postcard and it's a 1000% upgrade from the last one.
