Filming Sunglass Hut Commercial

Image
I began my filming process for the commercial on the 28th of October and finished today on the 31st. It was a thought out process included with some random ideas but I believe I got what I needed for my commercial. Some of the things from my initial planning ideas changed due to unforeseen things like the weather and ways of transportation. Throughout this project I left the Sunglasses in a bag in the car for my convenience, allowing me to film pretty much every chance I got and everywhere I went. I started on October 28th where I went to Joseph C. Carter Park around 9:30am during my study hall period of school. I used this time to accommodate those starring in the film since they had work later on in the day. We were in the aquatic center of the park and used its benches and scenery for filming. The brand sells sunglasses which was pretty much the prop in all my scenes. I filmed the model with the glasses walking with a range of sideway angles, zoom ins, and even slow-motion cli...

Planning Storyboard for my Sunglass Hut Commercial

Image
Creating a storyline for my commercial goes right along with my vision. I've looked at other commercials from Sunglass Hut to get an overview and inspiration of what I'd like in mines. I hope I'm not reaping more than I can sow.  For the beginning of the video, I want to have a variety of glasses pop up on the screen in a random order just blinking over each other. Its a cool and flashy into automatically grabbing the audience's attention.  Then have someone walking outside near trees or just in front of the mall with different angles and shoots. Ill do these in a long or aerial shots for range then zoom in on the glasses. Maybe it'll include an outfit change during this shoot for versatility. In the third box, I want someone driving, and once the sun shines SUPER BRIGHT, the actor will grab some trendy glasses and smoothly put them on and smile. The next scenes will be like a catalog screening and pan of the glasses in different settings. With ...

Planning for my Sunglass Hut Commercial

Image
Commercial Idea: For the commercial I have this extravaganza idea for sunglasses and Sunglass Hut itself. I'm aiming to have a range of people wearing whatever they'd like to not only embed their personality but include diversity in the film. I'll shoot in different locations for diverse scenery. Prop: Each prop will depend on the person and their outfit. Maybe a lollipop for a child to boost aesthetics. A soda for someone located outside during hot weather. Each person featured in the commercial will be wearing sunglasses from Sunglass Hut. It is the main product being promoted but can be referred to as the prop. Filming and Tracking Dates: Sunday 10-25-2020, going to film at the one of locations and work on storyboard with storyline. Monday 10-26-2020, going to film at one of locations Tuesday 10-27-2020, going to film at one of locations Thursday 10-28-2020, going to film at one of locations, LAST DAY FILMING Friday 10-29-2020, begin editing film and rerecord shoots if...
