I've joined a group! Group Blog!

Over the entire course of last year, I did all the projects alone and it was convenient and my main preference due to my busy schedule. I personally LOVE the individual freedom I get when getting creative and producing something I can be proud of. Especially with doing school at home and being separated. I also wanted to be safe for my family and reduce the amount of people I'm around due to Covid-19.

This year, I'm branching out and starting the year a bit differently. I will be working in a group with Cole Roberts and Samuel Silva, making us a group of three. We all are involved in extra-curricular activities and very integrated in sports, through this I feel like we have a mutual understanding of each other's schedules.
I've known Cole throughout high-school and we both are hardworking, high achieving students. We've worked together on math assignments and are good friends. Finding out we were both in the A-level course acknowledged that we both are interested in Media and find it genuinely interesting.
I met Samuel in this class and he carries a creative mind that I feel can contribute to our brainstorming, filming, and editing processes in the future. He's been a friend of Cole for over 6 years so we all clicked easily.
All in all, I'm looking forward to doing this project with them. I'd like to increase my group-working skills and determine if these three heads will be better than one. With this group, I can see different perspectives and hope our individual personalities merge and can be seen through the film.
